Removing vertices in section lines

Hi all,

I am manually editing my section geometry by moving the grips and am wanting to remove some of the additional vertices that I don't need in a certain area. Does anyone know how to delete extra points? I can't seem to find a way to do this either graphically or in the Section Editor. I am using C3D 2010. Thanks!

Use the Map cleanup comands, like you are prepairing the layer for a topology.

is this for hydraulic modeling purposes (HEC-RAS)?

Thanks all for the responses. I went ahead and just moved the vertices by hand. I tried to use the Edit Geometry but it wouldn't let me delete in there? Maybe I missed something there. I will have to try the map cleanup function.

It is not a hydro modeling project necessarily but it is for converting existing stream sections to a proposed section (each section had different criteria).

Thanks again
