Removing projected items from a cross section

I have a project that includes cross section with utilities that were inserted as blocks related to a profile base line.  I have made pipe networks for the existing utilities and have referenced the pipe networks into the sections.  I am trying to remove the pipes that were inserted from the profile using blocks.  The section and blocks seem to be one entity.

Check the profile properties, there should be a projections or pipe network tab.   You can uncheck them here.
