Hello,
I have tried several times to do a clean uninstall to remove the educational version of Civil 3D 2012 so I can install the commercial version I purchased. I have tried several times (4) to no avail. Any ideas on how to remove the educational watermark?
Thanks,
Rune
Are you getting the stamp in new files? It cannot be removed from existing files. If you are getting it in new files and you did a clean uninstall, you may have to begin with a new install of the OS.

Uninstall EDUCATIONAL version of AutoCAD.
Best bet is to contact Autodesk as a support request from your purchase - they will create a custom script routine for your machine to delete the watermark. you'll need to supply a list of the affected drawings for incorporation into the script. the watermark gets burried deep, so this would be easier than uninstall/reinstall.
from a former reseller A/E....
Best of Luck!
i don't think they do that anymore

It's how we were directed to respond as of a year ago, don't know the latest, but it would be my first thing to work with since I've seen install/uninstall not work (but didn't edit/delete the file recommended in previous posting).
Happily (or not) on the other side of the fence as a "user" or member of the "flat forehead society" again 😉 ...
There are several things need your confirm:
1, which kind license do you have? Commecial or Education?
2, during the uninstallation, have you delete all files, especially the template. They might have education wartermark.
3, does this dwg create or edit by autodesk software which has education license, then transfer to you?
