Registry hack to get Map 3D Exaggerate from Tech Camp?

I overheard Peter the Map instructor in the elevation say that he had found
a registry hack to get the Map 3D exaggerate button into Civil 3D. I saw he
had it up on the board in later classes, but mine was the first one so I
missed it. Anyone remember?

Yep... Not sure who asked first, but Big Pete (Southwood) did some seraching for us and got this ---

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R17.1\ACAD-6000:409\Applications\AcMap
Change StatusBar value to 1

This key is for Civil 3D 2008. Change the R piece of the key to your version, i think r17.0 for 2007.

I was upstairs in the Cloister room, apparently where they were recording everything. Lori was in there.... Funny, i heard alot of people were there at camp but being upstairs we saw noone... 🙂

ah THAT is why we were all downstairs together. they knew better than to
operate recording devices in the room with the loud mouth hecklers. even
our proctors couldn't keep us under control. or perhaps they were just as
bad...
