Read only after Fatal Error

Actually it was not a FE c3d simply ended.

 

I crashed last night: "civil3d does not have enough memory to complete the oper...." And this morning the file is read only but the file attributes are clear. What is the protocol to get back?

Drawing locks left behind? Look for DWL files inthe same folder as the DWG (without C3D running) and delete.

Intersesting...? the dwl and dwl2 files will not delete.... "in use"

Could someone else be editing them? Did you restart the PC?

Go to Task Manager (without C3D running), see if the processes "acad.exe" or "wscommcntr1.exe" are running. If so, kill 'em.
