Radial Acceleration input in Civil 3d

Hi there,

I need to change the radial acceleration value in Civil3d when designing for superelevated bends to shorten the tranistion of a track. I can calculate the transition manually but is there a way i can input this data in the design criteria while carrying out the alignment geometry design in Civil 3d.

Your help is much appreciated.

Hi Karen,

The criteria tables can be edited by editing XML file, but eventually you would have to edit it yourself as I don't belive radial acceleration values are in any available XML files. So if you can either edit values or find some custom XML file that somebody already created.
