Quickest way to delete curve from featureline?

Or the condensed versionEditFeatureCurve. It's funny that Help [in 2011] says the command supports 2D & 3D polylines and Lines. Since none of those support curves.

Tying to be helpful by testing a solution - I just crashe c3d and lost an hours worth of work Smiley Sad

 

In any event, I think you can only straightne a FL that has been previously Smoothed, otherwise it delete curves.

Very sorry about that Joe. I see you're burning the weekend oil too. I tried tracking down a couple of blogs that hinted you could use Pedit-Straighten. But you can't use Pedit on Featurelines.

 

I suppose you could explode the FL, Pedit it and turn it back to an FL. I ended up deleting the curve, adding a straight featureline and joining that back to the remaining segments.

 

Again. My regrets. No chance of recovering an Autosave file?
