quick access toolbar customization

I have attempted to customize the quick access toolbar by adding the <Close> command and giving it an icon.  I can drag and drop the command with the new icon to the toolbar, but after I close the customization dialog box, the icon disappears.  Is this a known issue?

Go to your Workspace and select Workspace Settings...

Toggle on the radio button for Automatically save workspace changes...

I set the workspace to automatically save and as soon as I hit <OK>, the icon disappears.

How is it quicker to click a "close" button on your quick access toolbar, than to click the red X on the right?

that is neither here nor there.  This behavior is existant for any custom button placed on the toolbar.  FWIW, if I have the mouse up on the quick access toolbar to save the doc, I can move it over a .1 of an inch and close it.

Have you tried hitting the apply button before pressing OK. If that doesn't help, maybe try a fresh profile.

I have tried the Apply before the OK.  It's a brand new install.  I have 4 days on it.
