Qucik Contour Labeling Question

Where does one set the layer that the Contour Label Lines go on? And, it must be in the same place, where is the setting to have Displat Contour Label Lines be 'false' upon adding them (polylines) as Contour Label Lines.

Here is what I am doing - creating polylines, on the layer I want them on in the end, where I want my labels to go. I then add contour labels using the objects and deleting the originals. By default, the contour label lines are going to layer 0, and the lines are remaining visible. I would like the lines to go to the layer of my choosing, and the lines be invisible - labels on only.
