Purpose of Text Style

All,

Can someone tell me what the purpose of the text style is if you have to set
a text height anyways?

Example: Editing a profile style. Graph-Graph View Title.

It asks me for a text style (I enter in L140). The text height is at .0.25
(It should be 0.14 for L140). Am I missing something major here?

Thanks,

Rick

For Civil 3D labels, I just set up textstyles to lock down the font but give
them a height of 0.

If you are setting a text height in the label styles and taking advantage of
those functions, your leroys arent useful anymore 🙂

Your label styles (for example the profile view you are refering to below)
doesn't read the height from your textstyle.

In fact, I havent played with this, but I might be worried that it would do
its own mulitplication of textstyle height X established label height in
label style.

To be safe, I'd make new textstyles with heights of 0 for use in C3D labels.
