Proposed Profile

I created a proposed ditch profile along an existing roadway. Length of P. Ditch is from station 4+00 to 60+00. The P. Ditch appear in the profile view just fine.

when I click on the P. Ditch and select edit geometry. it only give me stat. 4+00 to 31+00, what happen to 31+00 to end?

The line in profile view said i have a full length ?????

What could have been wrong?

At the bottom of the text area when you reply. (See attached image)

If you can post the actual drawing that would be preferable to a screenshot. (Write-block out the profile if you can't share the whole drawing)

It is because of the vertical break in the profile at station 31+36.84. (see attached)

You need to drag one of the tangents up or down and snap it to the other line.

If you actually wanted that vertical drop there, you'll have to add a tangent between the two, but first you will have to adjust the one of the tangents horizontally 0.01' or 0.001', since you can't have a perfectly vertical tangent in a profile.

Hmm, thats simple enuf, I grab the grip and pull it down to match the continuos P. ditch, and voila in the profile edit all 60+00 length shown.

Much appreciate you spending the time reviewing .. "Operator Error"
