With the Live Maps semi functionality in AutoCAD 2014 (and by definition Civil 3D 2014) can we conclude that once Project Basejump time bombs later this year that it will not be reappearing any time soon?

The true, severe lack is and will always be the _IMPORTGEMESH command of 2012 release, trust me.
