Is there a way I can take my finished ground profile in my profile view and get Civil 3d 2011 to label the pvi's in the plan view?

Yes, check out the labels for the alignment. There is a label type to do what you are looking for.

Yes, absolutely you can do that.

1- Go to alignment labels.

2- Go to Profile geometry points and select point label style to code and stations and press the down arrow to select an action and press the bottom content as shown below

3-Select the properties (PVI Elevation) and then press the Right arrow bottom to add this content to your label style and eventually you can erase other content or leve it as you want to display.
