Profiles

HI all, I created a surface using existing countours, then I created another surface using proposed contours. I then created two allignments one at the top of the property and one bottom half of the property. I then generated profiles from both alignments. They came out great. Ok now I changed the elevations on some proposed contours and generated a new surface and made new profiles it works great, but the new profile shows up in the first two profiles also. How can I keep them from showing up in the first two profiles?

thanks

Because the two profiles you created are associated to the same alignment.

Typically you would not make a new surface when you change the proposed grades. The profiles you created in the first step will update automaitcally with the grade changes.

If you were looking at two different grading scenrios you may want to keep each in a separate file.
