Profile Reversal

One of the projects in my office is encountering a problem with Civil 3D reversing alignment directions. There are 3 alignments in an "H" shape. The middle of the "H" is being profiled the wrong direction. When the command is given to reverse the middle of the "H", all 3 of the alignments reverse direction. Any way to stop this, and only modify the middle?

Is there any way to submit the dwg with ONLY the alignments in it so I can
tinker? I can't imagine how the other 2 alignments can be changed when the
middle is modified.

This could be a stupid question but wanted to make sure that all 3 alignments were created separately? If you goto edit alignment and draw a segment and add a curve it does not have to connected to the alignment you are editing and it will essentially be the same alignment, this can be done very easily by mistake. If you click on one alignment do all 3 highlight?

So.. you're editing the profile style for that middle profile and telling it
to reverse correct? If that's the case, then you by default are reversing
all three profiles. Copy your profile style, reverse the copy, then apply
that to your middle alignment profile.

Sorry, nothing snappy here to say.

It seems weird that it would affect all three.

My cheater way would be similar-

1) mark an endpoint
2) move it out of the way
3) reverse it
4) move it back

(but make sure that it really is its own independant alignment first- not just a "broken apart" PI)
