Profile Quick Guide

I'm working on the following graphic as part of a handout at AU. It shows a
typical SS profile, along with where the items shown are found for editing.
Are there any items on here that you would like to see labeled, or aren't
clear?

Thanks for your input!

James:
I am quite impressed with what you are showing and this may be somewhat off
your subject. How did you show the pipe crossing (ellipse) at Sta 1+88 that
is tagged "Pipe: Profile View Properties"? All I seem to get is the entire
line (single pipe number).

Thanks,

Bill

It's a style override on that pipe in this Profile View. This is located in
Profile View Properties, Pipes tab, and then on the far right. There's a
built-in style called Crossing or some such. That pipe is part of the
network. Other pipes not part of the network (i.e. Water) are shown as
Station Elevation labels by using a double-ellipse as the point block, and
inserting the label. The nice thing about this is that the label will move
vertically if the datum changes because it's tied to an elevation.

Thanks for the comments!
