Profile Line Labels

My profile line labels appear white, and within a border.  I would like to change the label text color to magenta, and to remove this border.  

I right-click on the labels, but receive no option to remove the border.  

What's the best way to remove these borders, and to set the profile labels to a "magenta" color?

Right-clicking on the labels or profile line produces no useful response.

Select the profile and click "Edit Labels." In the style column, click the icon of the label style you would like to edit. Choose "Edit Current Style" by clicking the blue box and go to the layout tab. There will be options to change text color and to turn the border visibility on/off.
