Profile Curve Labels Splitting Sheets

I have searched and searched and cannot find a good answer for this. I have a profile where the design curve starts on one sheet and ends on the other. How do I get my curve label to split sheets also? See attached

Well, what I've done is just double label the profile. You'll need to drag the label on the right at the PVT off so it leaders to the side or you'll never see it. I did the same to the one on the left at the PVC for consistency.

I guess that could work but I like to see a curve label that has dimension lines that span the whole curve.

Your solution would work "worst case senerio"

I know, that's how I see it too, but we work with what we've got.
I'm open for a better solution, as long as no one says the X word. 🙂

Great Work! I think that is the solution.

Ok, I have the same issue, but without using dimensions. I have used your example, but my label is fixed and will not move. This is our current style for our office. Works just fine when the profiles do not split.

If the grip isn't showing up, you should be able to move the label up and down in properties using the Dimension Anchor Value. The grip doesn't show up because the grip is usually at the center of the label, if the center of the label isn't shown on the profile view, then the grip won't show up.

There's a new feature in C3D 2008, where you can assign the dimension line of the profile to end in view. I've attached an image of how we set up our profile curve labels.

If there is no grip (because it is split and the center of the dimension is on the next sheet), is there no way to 'drag' it so that text is not overlapping into the Profile titles & labels, etc.?
