The system requirements for AutoCAD Civil 3D list the required processor as needing SSE2 Technology. All the current generation processors list SSE4. Is this the technology needed or do I have to find something that specifically lists SSE2?
And are there any current mobile processors that support SSE#?
The processors have been doing this since about 2003 (I think). It's AutoCAD thats catching up here. Nothing to worry about.
any 2 to 3 generation i3, i5 are the best for civil 3d.
high frequency is key.
None of the 2nd or 3rd Generation Mobile Core i3, i5, i7s list that they support SSE. Our customer is wanting to use laptops. What would be the best Mobile processor to use since none appear to support this?
