Problems with roundabouts(cul-de-sac)

Hi everyone!

I´m having some problems with roundabouts (cul de sac).

Attached there are three pictures that illustrates my problem. I´m creating roundabouts by targeting assemblies with alignments and profiles.

In picture 1 is the 3d viewing of my roundabout

In picture 2 is the "profile" of this 3d view

In picture 3 is the drawing at model space

Does anyone have any idea of what´s going on?

I got the tip of how to create the roundabouts this way (targeting everything) in a video on youtube.

Have you added a border to your Corridor Surface?

It's hard to be sure but it looks like you have some sort of weird horizontal targeting problem it the bulb of the culdesac.  I would suggest that you use the view/editor to examine the corridor sections and try to isolate the one that has a problem.

Mariana, were you able to find a solution to your problem? I've recently came across the same problem. I have the corridor targeting the cul-de-sac's centerline, boundary set to outer limits or corridor... I'm interested to hear how/if you solved this problem. Thanks, Shaun

I couldnt manage to reduce the file size to 1.5mb to post it here. However, i seem to have figured out a solution. The surface was extending down the centerline beyond the cul-de-sac's corridor limits. The problem was that my boundary was set to 'corridor extents as outer boundary...' Adding a surface boundary polygon around the cul-de-sac seems to have fixed the problem.
