Problem with grading

Hallo everybody!

This is my first time with gradings so I have a question for you.

I created a grading with two different criteria as you see in the image I uploaded: only for the last part of the grading I used target surface criteria.

But doing this, I have a piece of grading that is under the surface.

What am I doing wrong?

I don't use grading much. But it looks like you're targeting an Elevation rather than the Surface.

I concur with Allen, or you are targetting a surface that is different than the one in the screen grab?
