problem creating sheets

Hello All,
I am new to the Civil3d. when I create a P&P sheets, I am trying to create 2 plan views per sheets. is there a way to create only 2 plan views per sheet. the usual is plan on top and profile at the bottom. i am trying to create plan on top and bottom. i created that way but it is duplicating the same plan view. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Murali.

Not automatically,

There are some workarounds if you search the user group that help make it easier, but not an automatic creation. I think the match lines can cause problems too.

Make your viewport the height you want but twice as long.(It will be longer than your sheet at that point.) And of course, make sure the viewport type is set to Plan. That will give you view frames twice as long. After you create your sheets, resize the viewport and add a duplicate one below the first one. You'll have to manually pan the view in the second one to see the second half of the view frame. You'll have a matchline at the begining of the first viewport and the end of the second that will correspond to the next sheet. It takes a little manual work instead of happening automatically, but it works. Edited by: ksknifer@juno.com on Feb 7, 2010 2:55 PM

Even better, do as kskinfer suggests (excellent suggestion by the way) and instead of resizing and creating a new one, copy first, then resize one to the left and the other to the right. Quick video giving you the idea of what I mean. It's not done on the plan production but you get the idea.

Hey Brian,

That is good. Thanks, Keith
By the way, I learned that trick from this discussion group originally.
