Ok i have a Project to print i can print it in Map 3D no problems takes about 15 seconds to process and then it sent to the plotter. But when i try and print this in Civil 3D it just sits there for over 40 minutes never printing. Was wondering if this is a known issue or somthing i can do to fix this. My computer is windows XP x64 with 16GB of ram and a 2.78ghz quad core xeon processor.
You may have already checked but are the options for background plotting & publishing are turned OFF. If I plot an empty layout with backgroud plotting turned on it takes about 2 minutes for an empty plot to generate, if I turn background plotting off it plots instantly.
