Polylines (contours) isolaltion

Is there a simple way in civil 3D to isolate a ployline (contour) on a specific elevation?  All of the contours are on a Major and Minor layer, but I need to isolate contours on a specific elevation.  Help!!!  Thanks for any reply.

Add a "User Defined Contour" at the elevation that you want and turn on "User Defined Contours" in you style. These could also be extracted from the surface to make polylines.

Could you right click and use the Quick Select with the Object Type set to Elevation and the Properties set to Elevation?

Peter's solution is for if you're dealing with a surface, mine is for if you just have polylines.  Hopefully one of these works for you!
