points on an alignment

i need to put points on the geometry points of an alignment. all i need is pc, pt, prc, pcc and radius and i need them labeled as such. is there a setting for that or does c3d just put points at all geometry points with no description and i've got to do it manually?

I don't think there is an option to label descriptions based on geometry type.

Sorry,

Mike

Set your default description to Automatic-Object.

Settings tab of Toolspace, expand Points, expand Commands, right click Create Points and pick Edit Command Settings. Expand Points Creation and set Prompt for Descriptions to Automatic-Object.

Hey, that's it! Although you gotta strip out all sorts of junk from the descriptions:

Alignment - (1) - 0+00.00 - BOA

Alignment - (1) - 1+40.35 - RP

Alignment - (1) - 1+40.35 - PC

Alignment - (1) - 4+29.79 - PT
