Points and Description Keys

I set my description key settings and imported my points, but my points are not being represented by my description keys.

Can you clarify what you mean by "my points are not being represented by my description keys"?  Does your point file include Raw Descriptions for the points and do these correspond to the Description Key Codes you setup?  Are you applyng Style and Layer settings to each code?

Perhaps you can post a snippet of your point file  and image of the Description Key Editor, or perhaps a drawing file that contains some of the points and the description key set you created along with the point file snippet.

Here are some of the points.  I have 170 pts.  I created my description keys with point styles and label styles expecting my symbols to show up when I imported the pts. We do not have a ACAD technician so there aren't really any styles set up.  I am working with a template that I created from scratch.
