Point Table in Layout space

Is it possible to create a point table in layout space that has a fixed scale. I don't want to have to make a table in model space and setup a viewport everytime I make a point table.

I don't see any settings that will allow you to fix the scale of Point Table in paper space. The only option that looks like capable of doing it is to explode the table in layout tab (not sure if you want to do that).
