Point Group Properties resides on a locked layer?

C3D 2008
I have several point groups. One particular group when I right click to go
to point properties (in the prospector) gives me an error "Object resides on
a locked layer". I know for a fact that this group of points do not reside
on a locked layer. In fact I can select them one by one in my model and
revise them. I just cannot get to the group properties. Why would I be
getting this message?

A leftover fragment fro earlier versions when PointGoup objects WERE on a
layer of their own. Unlock all layers, then you will be able to edit the
PointGroup Layer in the Summary tab of the PointGroupProperties. Change this
to layer 0 and you shouldn't have any further problems....
