Point group include exclude

im trying to create a point group by including all points and then excluding the points i don't need. it doesnt seem to be removing anything from the group. i used to do this all the time in ldd. is it still possible in c3d?

Sure, Create a New Point Group and on "Exclude Tab" Exclude the unwanted points by the following categories. In this example I'm excluding by Point # & Raw Description.

On include Tab include all points with all of your available Raw Descriptions.

Then be sure to place it at the top of Point Group Listing in Point Group Properties and place _No Display directly under this New Pt Group. Now only Points you wish to see should be displayed.

you have to create a new pointgroup. the all points point group will not let you exclude points.

Thanks,
Dave
