Point from drawing A to drawing B

Hello,

I have survey points in drawing A. I want those points to be available for drawing B. How do I do this?

(Coming from LDD where points were project based not drawing specific).

Thanks.

Use the survey toolspace. See information and tutorials here:

I would tend to agree...  Just copy-and-paste between drawings, if you really need the Cogo Points in multiple drawings.

In practice, we find the Survey Database to be a huge distraction and waste of time, on almost all counts.  And also in practice, we finde we generally don't actually need the same Cogo Points in multiple drawings.  So it's possible you may just want to rethink your processes, based on the fact that you no longer have a centralized point database.  That seems to have worked well for us for the last six years of using C3D, and has nowhere near the time-sink implications of the Survey Database.

As simply as copy & paste. I wouldn't thought of that.

Thanks a lot!
