Point file problem

I am using Civil 3D 2007 and I save the drawing to be opened in 2005. When I open it in 2005 I can not see any of my points. I have to import them in separately. Then when that is good an done, I save it then when I try to open it back up in 2007 I can not see my points again. Does anyone have a idea?

Do the points show up in the prospector and just not show in the dwg window?
Or do they not show at all, even in the prospector?

i am pretty sure that civil objects are not backwards compatible.

meaning you will have to recreate surfaces, points, etc in your 2005
environment

in general, not a good scenario
