I see that the Point Cloud Feature Extraction is now part of the Productivity Tools for Civil 3d 2012. Are these tools available in 2013? I am not seeing them anywhere. It seems goofy that there would be more tools available for the old release - what's the incentive to make the switch? Would you expect they will be available for 2013 sometime soon? I'm not complaining, I really like 2012, I'm just trying to look ahead. Thank you.
I verified this information and the Productivity Tools for Civil 3d 2013 it's being updated and will be available soon, but we do not have a scheduled date to provide you yet.
At this moment, the best choice to keep using this tools is stand in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 version until the upgrade be available.

Is there any update on Point Cloud Feature Extraction being available for Civil 2013?
Any news on these tools being made available? We just checked in the subscription center and this tool is still not a part of the productivity tools for 2013. We recently upgraded to 2013 from 2010 for the point cloud features and do not have the option of using 2012 for feature extraction.
Any update is appreciated.
My wish list too! I created a great little workflow for this tool and lidar data and now 2014 is being released and it doesn't appear to be released in subscription still for 2013. Any update on this? Please with sugar!
