Point and Point Label Styles

I am manually creating points in a drawing and have set up styles for both the points and point labels named "Aerial Topo." I have set the default point and label styles to "Aerial Topo" in both the create point dialog box and in the Create Points command in the Settings tab in the Toolspace window. However, when I create new points they do not have the "Aerial Topo" styles applied. Is there yet another setting someplace else? While I'm posting is there a way to edit multiple items at once in the Panorama window? You can seem to select multiple items using the shift or control keys, but I can't figure out how to edit say the description for all of the selected items at once. Is there a way to do this? Thanks.

Also, I changed the elevation precision setting in at least three different locations to 2, but points created still have elevation labels to the third decimal point. I can see how these styles can be a great thing when properly set up, but the number of settings and different locations where the same setting can be changed is completely overwhelming to me. Does anyone else feel this way?

When changing the precision in the composer, you should delete the existing
one and make a new one. Use the large ->(Arrow) and send it in.

As far as changing the descriptions, you did everything correct up to a
point, RT click the title in the column change description and it will
change the rest.

FYI,

Just highlight the label in the edit window, the formatting will show on the
left. Change the values and then hit the arrow. I think it's a little
faster then having to delete and create a new one.
