PLotting Large Aerial Photo

I am attempting to plot an aerial photo that is 6" +- wide by 25' long on a single roll of paper. My propblem is once i start to print all i am getting is a 6" wide strip of black ink.... How do i get the thing to plot correctly? I am sure it's some sort of printer setting, but it has got me stumped.

Printer make and model?

Can you successfully print to a PDF file from AutoCAD? Send that to the printer (if the printer is fairly modern.)

HP DesignJet T2500 PSHPGL2 - I was able to figure out the problem. It was the default resolution/image quality. I was able to fix the problem bu going into the custim properties for the plot setup and changing the dpi from 600 to 1200 or something like that.
