Plotting FG profiles

Does anybody here know the trick to plotting FG profiles so that vertical
curves are not tesselated into 1-inch long chord segments? I tried
adjusting the "Curve tesselation distance" of the profile style to be a very
small number, but it does not seem to help.

Hey Jon;

Is this aberration showing up just on the monitor(s) or also in a plot?

Actually, the problem ONLY shows up in a plot. On the screen, REGEN
smoothes it out just fine...

And IIRC you've got the 2006 version, don't you?

I wonder if you'll need to upgrade the plotter drivers?

Have you tried all the plotters in the office, including the printers (on a
portion of the view where the anomaly shows on the main plotter)?

Jon,

This has come up once in the NG. I just plotted a FG profile and have not
seen any curve tessellations.

If you are in paperspace layout - you may see curve tessellated; please
toggle to MODEL in that layout and regen once - then back to PAPER and plot.
No tessellations!

Attached is pdf I created from PLOT command - if you want to take a look at

Thanks

I guess the Deskers are the last to read their own notices:

[from the 4/12/05 Post-Launch Issues post by Eric Wright]
2. Attachments not displaying correctly, text, zip, and other files appear
empty or blank when opening. Issue has been identified and affects some
attachments posted via newsreaders only. As a temporary workaround,
messages that require attachments can successfully be posted via the web
browser interface.

You're the second Desker I've had to remind. To protect their identity I'll
only give their initials:
Chip
Harper
...over in the Cad Manager DG.

Gee, how'd that get there. Looks like another glitch! 🙂

I tried it from a paperspace layout as well as the modelspace layout with
the same result.

The only workaround that has been offered so far is to plot a DWF. I
haven't verified it myself, though.
