As TomD has mentioned,
there are worms in that can. I've had some success creating multiple
profile bands that overlap each other to achieve different shading for eg and
fg text values. This type of remedy is not always possible. The
Parcels issue is known and a "solution" was offered in a previous discussion I
had (and probably many others) on this DG. It may seem strange, but I
was shown to create all Parcel objects on layer 0, then move them to more
specific, desired layers. This deals with a ltscale issue as
well... In that former post, I exchanged both a .ctb and .stb parcel
label that achieved screening of labels. The .ctb lets you simply change
colors while the .stb requires crafty use of two or more labels.
I had an exchange with
MAnderson on this subject here, and he later posted to the civil3d.com site
and got some comments from other users, as well. The reasons I've listed
there still apply, and I'd recommend sticking with the .ctb (even though I
love the idea of the .stb).
