Plan Production Tools

Has anyone been able to effectively use the plan production tools? I have been tried mutiple times and have been able to create a sheet set file that I can use.

The first couple of times I tried to create sheets I reached about 18% completion before a fatal eror occured.

I detached some xref's and turned the surface style off iin the source drawing and now I am able to create a file with a couple of layouts in it. The problem no is that I can not open the file that I created.

When I try to open the files Civil 3D freezes up when the software tries to synchronize the references upon opening.

I am trying to use Plan Production tools to export 6 data references into Plan and Profile Sheets. The data references I am trying to create are an Alignment, FG Profile, EG Profile and 3 pipe networks. The source file was orignally created in 2007.

The case was closed, but the issue was not resolved. Autodesk could not recreate the error. I can not create sheets from any view frame group with or without pipe network data shortcuts.

If your case is unresolved, please re-open the case and we can continue
working with your data. If you choose to do that, please provide more
information - your drawing had many VFGs and the incident report did not
specify which VFG to generate sheets from, and what settings were to be
used. The few that our QA tried, generated sheets successfully.

Also, it's easier to follow discussions when distinct issues are kept
separate. Please reply to your original thread (or start a new one).

Thanks.
