Hi.
Are there any criterias , boards or charts about pkt files from civil 3d releases?
For example: can I use a pkt file ( made in SAC 2014) in Civil 3D 2013?
Thanks.

They are not backwards compatible.

Thanks.
Is it possible to download SAC 2013 alone?
I have installed c3d 2014 and 2015 but not c3d 2013.
And another question.
What happen if I import that pkt file in civil 3d 2014, save the dwg file and open it in civil 3D 2013?
Are they forwards compatible? I.E. will a subassembly created in SAC2013 work in Civil 3D 2017?
I've had no issues thus far with any of the subassemblies that I have made thus far with forward compatibility.

Hello Kati,
I know that this is an old post but allow me to ask you.
Why is not the pkt created in f.e. 2018 compatibile with an older version of Civil? What is the reason?
SAC 2016 allows me to open and edit 2018 pkt with no warnings.
Also the pkt can be imported to Civil 3D when you edit cfg file in pkt archive but cannot be launched.
<ProductName>Autodesk Subassembly Composer</ProductName> <Version>ForMatterhorn</Version> <VersionNumber>12.0.842.0</VersionNumber> //this is 2018 version code
So the compatibility has something to do with dll itself in pkt?
Thank you
