PIPES: not connecting to structure

So I have a problem with a structure and some pipes that are attached to it.

In my source drawing for this network I have a manhole that has 2 pipes coming in and one exiting. In the source the structure shows all pipes attached. When I data reference the network, two of the pipes are no longer attached to the structure and everything I have tried so far has not worked.

What I have done so far is:

  1. deleted the network and re-referenced it.
  2. syncronized
  3. moved the structure in the source, syncronized...
  4. detached and reattached the pipes in the source and sync'd.

So far nothing has worked, next I'm going to delete the structure and put in a new one?

Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it easily?

So I found the fix... the one thing I didn't do. Delete the structure, create a new one and attach the pipes to it.

Select the pipe and grab the square blue grip at the end. Drag this grip over a structure and you should see a symbol appear (small circle with 4 small lines) This indicates that the pipe will be connected to that structure when you release it.

Another option is to select the pipe and choose Connect to Part from the right click menu. Then select the structure.

Make sure the pipe and structure are in the same network.
