Pipes linetypes

It is common cad practice in some areas to use the same linetype for the top
of pipe in profile as is used for the utility in plan view. Anybody figure
this one out yet?

Hey Mike;

Which portion of this practice is eluding you?

That part wasn't evident from your post.

Or do you mean that there's no method currently to turn off the Top of Pipe
in C3D profiling?

That way you could at least use AutoCAD to draw what you need "by hand".

match the linetype used in plan.

So your stating that there's no way to use the method I described as a
work-around, at least?

I'm sure you're searching for "the" method to accomplish your ends through
Civil 3D, but with the lack of response I'm thinking you may be needing to
wait for the next release, or at least an update.
