You can specify some of that information but it's pretty useless at this point. Please see my original reply to your original message here: http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?threadID=565868

Thanks Brian :
according to my information in c3d 2008 have been integrated civil design
and survey. Therefore in PIPES the appropriate commands will exist to
determine the parameters that I have indicated him.

Not quite.....
The CivilDesign and Survey modules have been integrated into Land Desktop
Companion. It still won't let you do your hydraulics in C3D as you could in
Civil Design.

yeah.... you aren't going to be able to get an HGL, pipe sizing or similar out of Civil 3D 2008.

You can get some expressions to do some flow calcs for you, but nothing in CIvil 3D 2008 does anything similar to the hydraulics calculators in Land Desktop+Civil Design.

A question was asked in the LDD NG had anyone received their CDs for Survey
& Civil Design. Peter Funk answered and said that the Survey & Civil
Design (CD's) had been integrated into the "Companion" CD, thus (somehow)
the misunderstanding of the integration with Civil 3D.

Sorry Peter, maybe in 10 years or so, the naming convention of the
"Companion" series will run its' course.
