PIPE2EXCEL.dvb in Civil 3D 2012 Pipe network analysis

Hi,

I'm using the PIPE2EXCEL.dvb (macro file) for my pipe network analysis. (Which I get from http://au.autodesk.com/?nd=class&session_id=3177)

Follow the steps as per the videos,

I tried to execute the Export to Excel (Attachment 01), but getting error message (Failed to execute Export to Excel - Attachment 02)

I'm not familier with Storm & Sanitary analysis 2012.  Using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012, 64bit

Kindly have a look on my query

Thanks

Najeeb

Since it has been over 2 years since Rad wrote that, perhaps you should send him your Question.

That VBA was not written for C3D 2012.  It will not work unless it is modified.  BTW, Rad does not work for Autodesk any longer, so that's why his email bounced back.

Thanks Matt,

Could you please more specific about the editing of VBA files? (Like which area need to be modified)

regards

Najeeb

Definitely the version number, but possibly more due to possible changes in the API. You'll need to hire a VBA programmer or find one in here to do it for free. If it's just the version number it will be a quick fix.

Hi,

I changed the version number & reference files in 2009 matched with C3D 2012 (attachment 01).

The macro file (PIPE2EXCEL.dvb) is working smooth in C3D 2012.

But....

When execute the IMPORT from EXCEL, Pipe size & slops are update automatically in plan and profile. Except the pipe size in labels, It is not update automatically, need to SWAP part (attachment 02)

Kindly have a look on my doubt

Thank you,

najeeb
