Pipe network style propagation

Pipe networks that are data referenced into sheet drawings seem to have one major flaw... if you, say, swap a part in the base drawing, save, and synchronize in the sheet drawing, the part updates but the style does not. Now one has to go through each and every sheet and manually change the style for the newly swapped part.

Anyone else notice this? Is there a good solution or workaround that people are using?

Thanks in advance.

Changing multiple part styles in prospector is faster than selecting each part.

Match Properties also works.

Agreed, but one still has to go drawing-by-drawing to update the styles in each data referenced sheet, yes? This is what we are trying to avoid.

That's how the program is designed to work...I.E. have parts in drawings and have the ability to assign different styles to same object in different drawings.  For this reason, we don't Dref our pipe networks, we Xref.  We label through the Xref and haven't had any problems with it to date.  IF we ever needed to seperate our pipes into seperate base drawings, like SS, Water, and Storm, we would Dref for crossing purposes but that need hasn't risen yet.
