Pipe Network References

I am trying to create references of pipe networks in my project into another drawing. When I select create reference, the option to select a network parts list is unavailable, as is surface name, alignment name, structure label style, and pipe label style. The pipe and structure data comes in fine, but all of the styles are set to standard.

The parts list and all of the styles are in both drawings.

Is there a way to be able to select these options when creating the initial reference?

This is a known issue with Networks and Data References...little birdie told
me it's fixed in SP2, delivery date still TBD.

I was hoping that sp2 would fix my problem with pipe network references, it just doesn't work at all for me. I can select them and all seems fine but that's it, it never completes the command or crashes.
