Pipe Network issues MH and pipe inv's not aligning

I created a gravity pipe network with the structures set to null. Then I was told to add a 48" dia manhole at 2 bends. For some reason the sump of the man and inv of the pipes are net matching. I go into the structure propeties and manually set the rim to sump heighth to match the inv of the pipe. But for some reason the inputed heigtht doesn't stick. I made sure the manholes and pipes are connect but it still looses the inputed height. Any suggestions?

This is the second C3D project I worked on.

I'm using C3D 2014 SP 2.

Thanks for any advices

Without seeing a picture of the issue, if your sump is 2 feet below the lowest invert, then apply a structure rule to structure which sets the sump depth to zero.

Here is a screen shot of the area I am talking about. This is a stormdrain network. The outlet inv needs to be 0.1' below the inlet invert.
