Pipe Network does not display in 3D view or object viewer

I have a drawing Civil 3D 2014 file in which I cant get the pipe network to display in 3D. If i select the network and go to the object viewer the pipes and structures disappear. If i rotate the drawing in C3D they disappear in appearance only. All the layers are on and thawed, not locked, and the styles are all on for model, plan, profile and section. If i copy the parts to a different clean file they display just fine. I have purged and audited this file also. Im out of ideas. Any help would be great!!

Hi Paul,

Seems to work as expected here using 2014 SP1.

Front View of Model Space and twisting the MS view and no PN objects disappear.

Orbit also working as expected.

I take it it's one isolated dwg that exhibits this issue?

Have you tried wblocking entire drawing of problem file and inserting the new block into a clean dwt>explode new block?

Jay,

It is an isolated drawing that is doing this. I have tried to copy paste into clean dwt and all works fine. Its like the pipe network has its own setting to not display in 3D. Other objects show in 3d i.e. surfaces.

Paul,

One thing worth checking, enter DISPLAYMANAGER @ command line>Representations by Object>

PIPE

STRUCTURE

Verify both objects have Model checked for display.

If these are unchecked the PN objects disappear.

Thanks Jay,

I did look at the Display Manager and all was checked correctly.
