perpendicular pipes not showing up in a profile view

I have created a pipe network and have a few perpendicular pipes that connect to structures. In my profile, when I select the structure and then right click, edit structure style....go to display tab in the view direction list and select profile. I then make the structure pipe outlines component visible, just like the tutorial i did tells me to, and I cannot see the oval within the structure. I was wondering what I am doing wrong....I know it is probably a simple fix.

Make sure you are not drawing the perpendicular pipe in profile.

IOW, in the image below, if I draw the structure and only the single wall pipes in profile, the ellipse for the double wall pipes will show.
