Parking Lot layout

I am also not seeing the Parking Stall Layout functions in 3d.

2009 at least seemed to have a very confusing tab under the sub assemblies that I never did get a chance to try.

I don't recall seeing at all in 2010.

I use the LDD/Civil function parking stall layout frequently.

No its not there. On a side note: other than radial stalls you may want to
look into dynamic blocks for parking layout

This is one of the two tools that I really wish were ported from LDD. The
other being the daylight poly commands.

This would be worth a wish list item IMO.

John:

You are supposed to use the included Dynamic Blocks for Parking.

(Not too much trouble to use a Measure Block on a polyline)

Hey they were a great starting point for me! Know I have extraction tables
that always tell the current parking count. Even LDD, as nice as the layout
tool was left me to manually count stalls. I don't know about the rest of
the world but if I had to count more than 10 stalls I felt like I was locked
in purgatory

As soon as I got the blocks all worked out for straight segs with totals, I
had two review eng's in two different towns demand a number in each stall...

Get the umbrella, here comes a big raspberry :smileytongue:

Thanks in advance
