Parcels not showing in xref

Here is an oddity that I cannot figure out. Granted I am using parcels in an unconventional manner; to show hatch fills for flatwork in a plan.

I had parcels defined and displaying a hatch fill and all looked as expected. Then the parcel were edited; some were unionized and now they do not display in the xref. the image on the right is the parent file and the left where it is xrefed in. Is this a known issue?parcel2noshow.png

Thank you

Reaching for straws and bumping the thread here but do the xref'd parcel and the master file have the same site name?

Gee I never considered that. No they don't. I'll try it? you mean add the site name to the sheet file they are xrefed in?

Nah I was wondering if both files had the same site with objects in them perhaps you made the impossible happen and the sites were interacting through the xref... 🙂

I think I found where I went wrong.

I had mixed active alignemnts with ds alignments and some of the DS alignemnent were given the same name. When promted with the old name new name dialog the drafter went with rename and thats where all the trouble started. we are removeing the DS alignment and placing making active in the parcel file.

I'll let you know what becomes of it

Thank you
