Parcel Labels - can it be done?

Please see attached file of created parcels. Can I label all interior
parcel dimensions, and the exterior dimensions of the overall parcel using
parcels labels, and keeping the parcels on one site?

Another situation would be the lots being on a curve?

Yup.

The labels for the exterior lines and the rear lines of the wider lots on the upper side will need a label style with spanning enabled so they're 'span' over the intersections of the adjoining lot lines. The rest can use a style with or without spanning as span or no span will yield the same result on those segments.

Hmmm, 'all dimensions', well, there will be a few things that a parcel segment label can't do. You won't be able to label the entire line running horizontally through the block from end to end, only the intermediate pieces. You will also not be able to label a line that runs all the way through the block going top to bottom.

I can get the rear lines to label correctly on the top part (they are say
75' wide). For the lots on the bottom (they are say 50') where a line from
the top intersects at the mid point, I can only get it to label 25' and
25'.....

Whoops, sorry, my fault. The lower lots, going from left to right, the rear of lots 2, 5, 8 and the last lot, need spanned labels.

I understand what you are explaining....I can not get it to use different
labels on the same segment. From left to right, lot 1 on top, and lots 1
and 2 on the bottom, rear segmants.....label lot 1 bottom, no span...then
label lot 2 bottom, span, both ok......then go to label lot 1 top,
span....where do I pick the segment to make it label the correct dimension?

Thanks

Sorry for the delayed response. (system overheating)

Where you pick on the line doesn't matter. Which side of the line the label is on does.

I suspect there might be something in the method used to construct these lots. The line for the rear of the lots needs to be one long continuous line from one side of the block to the other.

This is how I would construct the line work to work with the way parcel/labels work.

1. Start with the exterior of the block, a big rectangle.
2. Cut the block in half with one new line across the middle.
3. Cut the top and bottom into the smaller lots by adding one new line to cut off each one. If a lot line from one side of the block coincides with one on the other side you can carry it all the way through the block if you wish.

This will properly create the parcels you need, with no overlapping lines, and with long continuous segments. The lines will react with each other to form the parcels.

for some ideas on how to get spanning labels to work try these articles:

(ignore the first two)

Ahhh.....My problem was the top/bottom label position. Thanks.

Now I need to figure out how to organize all of the label styles.
